Thank you to everyone who donated to Callum. Together we raised £1,500.
Callum is 17 and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy and renal problems. He was also born with two clubbed feet which have been operated on several times. His feet give him great pain and he needs to be fitted with silicon ankle foot Orthosis (Safo’s). These will help to alleviate the pain he suffers, prevent foot drop and hold and lift his feet from the top. Unfortunately these are not supplied by the NHS and cost £1500.00. Through the generosity of our customers we were able to fund this.
Callum is visually impaired and relies on sound and touch to help him. He has no speech but uses a computer at school to communicate his needs and wants. We would very much like to purchase a communication system for Callum, as this would allow him to make some choices in his life, something that we all take for granted.
