FOOT artist Craig Seabright put his talents to good use to raise funds for a cause close to his heart.
The 40-year-old Boscombe man spent five hours drawing portraits of customers and their pets at the new Dorset Children’s Foundation charity shop in Christchurch Road.
Craig and his partner Chantale Paruit, who is a volunteer at the shop, both work as artists.
A prolapsed vertebrae means that Craig could be paralysed for days, if he sketches using his hands.
He said: “People made a minimum donation of £5 to the charity in return for a portrait. I used to do a lot of voluntary work and it’s great to give something back.”
Dorset Children’s Foundation trustee Scott Akam said: “We are very grateful to Craig and Chantale for their support.
“We have only been open for a fortnight; our aim is to help children with long-term sicknesses, disabilities and life-limiting illnesses.”
